About Bags of Blessings

Bags of Blessings was founded in November 2024 as a heartfelt initiative dedicated to uplifting and empowering underserved communities through essential resources, acts of kindness, and community-driven support. Our mission is to provide tangible assistance while fostering confidence, dignity, and resilience in those who need it most.

Since our founding, we have hosted two impactful events in Pasadena, CA. In December 2024, we launched our Bags of Blessings: Holiday Giveaway, where we provided underserved mothers and children with gently used designer handbags, hygiene essentials, small toys, and handwritten encouragement cards—ensuring they felt valued and supported during the holiday season.

Most recently, on February 22, 2025, we organized the Bags of Blessings: Empowerment & Resource Fair for survivors of the Eaton Canyon Fires. This event connected fire-affected families with critical resources, including financial assistance, housing support, job opportunities, and mental health services. With the help of community partners, we distributed backpacks and work totes filled with essentials, grocery gift cards, and hygiene kits to help families start rebuilding their lives.

Bags of Blessings is more than a giveaway—it is a movement of compassion, empowerment, and community support. We remain committed to expanding our impact and ensuring that every individual we serve feels seen, uplifted, and equipped with the tools they need to move forward.
