Our sponsors make Ballers Basketball happen!  Each year we have about 30 participants and it's growing.

A Message from our Youth Intern, Henry Scolnick:

"Dear Future Sponsor,

My name is Henry Scolnick, and I am a junior at Cape Henry Collegiate. In 2021, I partnered with Aid Another to create Ballers Basketball. My biggest inspiration for starting the program was my brother Oliver. We’re only 17 months apart, and for as long as I can remember, he’s wanted to do everything I do. I quickly saw how challenging it can be for kids to find sports activities where they truly belong.

Ballers was my way of giving him, and others like him, the chance to play the sport we both love.

What began with 10 players in 2021 has grown into a vibrant program of 34 players this past season! Each athlete plays with a one-on-one buddy, families can cheer from the stands, and players experience the joy of being part of a real team."

Ballers Basketball provides a structured 6-week adaptive sports program where participants with disabilities practice basketball fundamentals, build social connections, and develop confidence. Each player is supported by a peer volunteer buddy, ensuring accessibility and fostering community inclusion.

Your support helps keep Ballers affordable and accessible, while giving players and volunteers the chance to grow, connect, and thrive in a team environment. Sponsorship ensures that:
