You never know what someone might be struggling with behind closed doors. We don't know what these kids have gone through. It's possible that not all of them have many mentors in their lives that they can count on. There have been times in my life where I haven't had that. I don't ever want another child to go through that, which is why I choose to show up to Ballet and Books every week, to be the mentor that I didn't always have.
