January is off to a rough start. We were contacted about Bandit Flash from a vet tech at one of the vets we use. She had found him and the shelters were full and not accepting any other dogs. He did his "stray hold" and was surrendered to us when no one came looking for him. Putting into words how emaciated this dog is/was is not something we can accurately do. He's majorly underweight, has no use of his back left leg, the back right leg has major muscle loss. He can barely support himself to use the bathroom, walking is nearly completely out of the question. Still, he tries. Estimated at 3-5yrs old, he has the will to live, the perseverance to survive however long he's been on the streets. Bandit Flash was found severely matted, smelly, starving and in desperate need of a warm place to stay. We have taken this sweet guy into our care and are working on getting him the best vet care we can. But, this comes with a hefty price tag. His mobility although compromised greatly, has not compromised his spirit. Bandit Flash is described as sweet, loving and brave. Please help us help Bandit Flash.
