Bangor African Festival

Bangor Area Africans is a network of immigrant families living in various parts of Maine, north of Portland, Augusta, Bar Harbor, Farmington, and Downeast regions.

The two-day festival will feature traditional music, dance, food, and art from various African countries, providing a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and appreciation.

Our shared goal is to foster awareness and capacity-building between the "Bangor-Area Africans" and the State of Maine, a collaborative effort that will strengthen our community. These are essential in promoting diversity and building bridges between different communities.
