Barakat's Mission is dedicated to female empowerment through education and partnerships, enabling them to become their own best advocates. In Afghanistan, we provide basic education to all children and expand opportunities for girls and women past 6th grade through college and beyond. In India, we support transformative education and people-driven advocacy to prevent and end violence against girls and women. 

Our vision is a world free of violence where women and men can regard each other as equals, with equal opportunities to learn and grow.
