🕌 Appeal for Morocco Earthquake and Libya Flood Victims 🕌
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
As-salamu alaykum (peace be upon you),
In these trying times, our hearts are heavy with the pain and suffering faced by our fellow Muslims in Morocco and Libya. They have been struck by the devastating forces of nature, leaving behind a trail of destruction and despair.
Morocco has recently experienced a powerful earthquake that has left families homeless, injured, and grieving for their loved ones. Libya, on the other hand, has been inundated by destructive floods, causing immense hardship for its people. These are our brothers and sisters in faith, and they need our support and compassion.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever."Â
Let us come together as one body, united by faith and compassion, to help alleviate the suffering of our brethren. Your generous donations can make a significant difference in providing shelter, food, clean water, medical aid, and hope to those affected.
To contribute, please visit our masjid or use the provided donation methods. Your support, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing these calamities.
Let us fulfill our duty as Muslims to support those in need and show the world the beauty of our faith through our actions. May Allah reward your generosity and grant relief to those afflicted.
JazakAllahu Khairan (May Allah reward you abundantly),

We have launched an emergency appeal to help those affected. Please donate if you can.
Initial reports indicate that more than 2,000 people have died and thousands are missing, after Storm Daniel caused unprecedented floods in north eastern Libya.
The eastern cities of Benghazi, Sousse, Derna and Al-Marj have been affected and Derna, which is home to 10,000 people, has been submerged after two dams reportedly burst nearby.
Entire neighbourhoods are thought to have been swept away.
Whilst the situation is still unfolding, it's clear that there are urgent and immediate needs to respond to.Â
On Friday 8 September, 11pm local time, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Morocco. The epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains, approximately 70 kilometres south of Marrakesh. A 4.9 magnitude aftershock followed just 20 minutes later.
Local authorities are now reporting that over 2,800 people have died, with many more critically injured. The total number of people affected is in the hundreds of thousands.Â
Many of the worst affected areas are remote and mountainous, making them harder to reach, so these numbers are likely to rise rapidly in the coming days as the full impact of the disaster becomes clearer.
