2026 Bedding, Blankets and Cleaning

Each year we do our best to predict what we will need to have on hand for bedding- shavings, straw, hemp. However, being New England, we could get a total of a foot of snow one winter or over 3’! Drought or monsoon rains? We just never know. What we do know is that sleeping and relaxing on dry, clean and warm bedding is critical to everyone’s health and comfort. The equines and some of the senior alpacas, sheep and goats adorn cozy blankets during the frigid temps. After several years of abuse, some need to be replaced, all need to be washed and re-waterproofed each spring. We do this task ourselves with our pressure washer but have to purchase blanket wash as well as waterproofing.
