After selling out of all 4 performances of Annie this summer with a cast of 70 actors, we at Beacon Performing Arts quickly saw the need for our own facility. In our new building we will offer:

Weekly acting, singing, and dancing classes in our classrooms for youth and adults
4 Major Productions a year, running 2-3 weekends each
Monthly Movie Nights, Vocal Performances, Open Mic Nights, Creative Workshops, and Seasonal Events for the Community

We were blessed to find $30,000 worth of like new theater seats for $2500, saving us over $25K!! However whatever location we find, we will need extensive renovations to outfit it as a beautiful and functioning theater.

NEEDS:

Updated HVAC units to adequately cool the classrooms/dressing rooms and bathrooms
Updated Electricity to wire the building for stage lighting
New Stage Lighting, Sound Equipment, Curtains
Renovations to build out the stage, dressing rooms/classrooms, concessions, and bathrooms
Monthly/Annual Scholarships for those unable to afford classes/productions
