What is the Beacon Kindness-Garten?

The Beacon Kindness-Garten is a community-sponsored graduation gift honoring every kindergarten student in the Beacon City School District.

Graduating kindergarteners will receive a copy of Pink Unicorn's Magical Day - a story by Beacon artists, author Nicole Hughes & illustrator Chris Ams, and inspired by the spirit of our community's Beacon Unicorn Fund -- along with a small, tale-inspired "Kindness Kit" that encourages joyful, simple, everyday acts of kindness.

This initiative is fully sponsor-funded and provided as a gift to Beacon families. It requires no expenditure from the district.
