ABOUT US

We are Better Nature Solutions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training women from incarcerated and refugee communities in the art and science of plant health and soil health care.  

OUR METHOD

Using ecology and biology as our foundation we help home owners, public and private spaces to create and manage gardens with minimal damage to the ecosystem and maximum conservation of indigenous flora in the Knoxville TN area. Our apprenticeship program leads to an entrepreneurial program to increase the number of women owning these types of businesses.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Please support women and conservation of biodiversity by helping us to create a healthier East TN ecologically and economically.

This year we need to raise $100K to hire two full-time apprentices @ $15/hour to learn on the job and through the online coursework we provide. This will be when the rubber hits the road as they say.  When we can hire and train women in landscape and tree care skills we will be doing what we were created to do.  We can't wait!
