Recently, we faced a necessary decision. The previous playground equipment, once a source of joy and play for our students, had become outdated and inadequate for the needs of our remarkable children. This decision, though challenging, was made to ensure our students have an environment that meets their needs and fosters their growth.

This change has had a significant impact on our incredible kids. The absence of a suitable playground for social interaction and uninhibited play has been felt deeply. This change has presented challenges for children who rely on routine and familiarity.

At VAC, our students seek more than a place of education; they seek a haven—where they can learn vital life skills and freely express themselves. This playground isn't just about swings and slides; it's an integral part of their experience—an outdoor classroom where they learn social interactions, express themselves, and be kids.

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $60,000 to rebuild this essential space. This amount covers purchasing new playground equipment and the necessary groundwork, installation, and safety measures to create a suitable and enriching environment for our children.
