Help us provide free doula services to the families in Alabama who need it most!

Doulas are non-medical professionals who provide informational, emotional, and physical support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. When people are supported by doulas, they are less likely to give birth too soon (preterm birth) or to give birth to a baby that's too small (low birth weight), and they are less likely to have a surgical birth (c-section). BirthWell Partners is a non-profit that has been training community doulas and providing free one-on-one support to under-resourced pregnant people in Alabama for over 10 years.
