Black Woman Heal

This year we are celebrating the 8th Annual Black Woman Heal Day on April 1st. Our focus this year is “Black Women Exploring Ourselves.” Society has its definition of who it believes we are as Black women, which often is not positive. The negative pressure can cause us, at times, to doubt our intrinsic worth and value. When we look within ourselves for affirmation, we are able to shut out the negativity of the world around us and just focus on who we really are at our core.

We are launching a new initiative for Defending Black Girlhood this year, where we are supporting Black woman leadership globally. We have partnered with 2 Black women led organizations in the British Virgin Islands and St. Maarten that focuses on Black women empowerment in order to combat the stigmas and stereotypes faced daily in society. As you can imagine, many countries with less resources have suffered deep economic challenges during the pandemic.

In honor of Black Woman Heal Day 2022, we would like to invite you into a wonderful opportunity to help us support the Black woman leadership of these two organizations that are committed to empowering Black women and defending Black girls.

We have a goal to raise $3000 for our Black Woman Leadership Empowerment efforts. This would allow us to provide women and girls that are served by these organizations with healing journals, affirmation books and empowerment kits and much needed basic assistance.
