Blood Analyzer

Pawnee is working to acquire an in-house blood analyzer to help eliminate delays in treatment for those at our Crisis Stabilization Unit who need to start medications, but are unable to afford the necessary lab work. We need your support to make this happen.

A Simple Tool with Life-Changing Impact 
By acquiring an in-house blood analyzer, we can eliminate these delays and provide immediate blood test results— allowing our team to quickly determine the safest and most effective course of treatment. This simple piece of equipment will:
🌑 Accelerate treatment by reducing wait times for lab results
🌑 Enhance patient care by preventing unnecessary suffering
🌑 Increase accessibility for low-income individuals who cannot afford private testing
🌑 Strengthen our crisis response by allowing our CSU to provide truly seamless, whole-person care

This device will serve at least 200 individuals in crisis annually at our CSU, as well as 250 additional low-income clients in Manhattan and Riley County who need lab work for their psychiatric medications but struggle with financial barriers. With a lifespan of at least ten years, this investment will have a long-lasting impact on mental health care in our community.
