I came to this work because I know firsthand the power of redemption, the weight of harm, and the transformative potential of restorative justice. My journey—from being incarcerated to becoming an advocate for healing—has taught me that harm doesn’t have to be the end of the story.
I’ve seen what happens when people, especially young people, are given the opportunity to be accountable in ways that lead to real repair, not just punishment. I’ve stood in spaces where individuals who were once on opposite sides of harm found a way forward together. And I’ve walked alongside families who have been impacted by cycles of injustice, seeing how access to support, education, and community can change the trajectory of their lives.
I believe in this work because I’ve lived it. I believe in it because I’ve seen its impact—restored families, empowered communities, and justice that heals rather than destroys. And I’m asking you to believe in it with me. Your support means that more children get the high-quality early education they deserve, more young people are given a pathway out of harm, and more families experience justice that truly restores. Together, we can build something different—something better.
Will you join me?
