Jameka Usher's Story
I live in a underserved community in South Nashville. I’ve raised four children in this community The passion I have for my community and my efforts have never gone unnoticed.
I received an incredible opportunity to work along side some heavy trail blazers. When I started this journey, I didn’t realize that would heal from my past trauma. I’m here because I too, have stories that are similar or the same as the families we serve.
We can’t be prisoners of our past. It’s just a life lesson, not a life sentence.
