5th Annual (2025) Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival
Support the 5th Annual Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival: Empowering Black Artists Through Community.
From October 10 - 12, 2025, the 5th Annual Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival will return, bringing together a vibrant celebration of Black dance artistry from Baltimore and beyond. This festival is a powerful reflection of Black choreographers and dancers' diverse voices, stories, and cultural legacies, presented through performances, community engagement, and master classes.
At its core, this Festival is about more than just dance—it’s about creating and sustaining a platform where Black artists can be seen, heard, and celebrated. In an industry that has historically marginalized Black dancers, the Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival provides a vital space for these artists to showcase their brilliance, challenge narratives, and inspire future generations.
Why We Need Your Support
We seek funding to ensure this annual event's continued success, and your support will make a direct impact. Your donation will help us cover essential costs, including stipends for the talented choreographers, teachers, and speakers, as well as the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to bring this vision to life.
Why This Festival Matters
Representation matters. The Baltimore Black Choreographers Festival is a testament to the importance of elevating Black voices in the arts and creating opportunities for artists to thrive. By contributing to this festival, you are not just supporting a series of performances but investing in the future of Black dance, empowering artists, and enriching the Baltimore community.
Your Role in Our Success
This Festival is for the community and cannot exist without YOU. Every donation, regardless of size, helps us continue the legacy of Black dance representation, education, and empowerment. Together, we can ensure that this Festival remains a beacon of artistic excellence and cultural pride for years.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in the power of dance to inspire and transform.
