Jolabokaflod - Giving Tuesday at Imago Dei 2025

Imago Dei's 4th annual Jolabokaflod ("holiday book flood") celebrates the Icelandic tradition of holiday book giving. We seek your support so that each of our students can purchase new books for themselves, and a new book to give as a gift to a family member for the holidays. Students travel to women-owned local and independent bookstore Antigone Books on 4th Avenue to purchase gift books in early December. The school's celebration of Jolabokaflod is part of our year-round efforts to support literacy and a love of reading.

Our overall goal for this year's Jolabokaflod is $3,600. If any funds remain after books are purchased, those dollars go to support our purchase of books by Black authors to give to students during Black History Month in February 2026. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
