The APA will be turning 102 and celebrating National BOOP Your Pet Day on Friday, July 26th. This year, we’ll be pawtying all weekend long!

What’s a birthday celebration without gifts? To support the thousands of pets who come through our doors each year, we’re asking for your presents and presence to help make every adoptable pet’s wishes come true.

As we celebrate our 102nd birthday, our biggest wish is to raise $20,000! And thanks to our friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka, every donation up to $5,000 will be matched, helping us get that much closer to our goal! Every contribution, no matter the amount, will give the gift of care to the thousands of pets that come through our doors, helping them find loving homes. Your financial gifts are essential in keeping the APA operational and meeting the needs of each pet who finds their way to us. Our work thrives on the generosity of our community, especially from caring individuals like you.

We have lots of fun activities planned, including snow cones by Kona Ice and a happy hour hosted by Tito’s Handmade Vodka! Also, all adoption fees will be waived on July 26 thanks to our friends at MetLife Pet Insurance. Adoption fees will also be waived for all pets 5 months and older and 30 pounds and up on July 27 and July 28.
