The Boots of Honor (Memorial) Project
There are 7,470 combat boots in this memorial.
Each one represents a service member who never came home—and a family who lives with that loss every day.
For 13 years, these boots stood in quiet formation once a year behind the gates of a military base. Now, Memories of Honor has assumed responsibility for carrying this sacred memorial forward—not as a display, but as a living act of remembrance.
This fundraiser ensures the Boots of Honor Memorial can be:
• Safely transported and preserved
• Installed with dignity and care
• Accessible to families, veterans, and the public
• Maintained as a free memorial—open to all
There is no ticket. No admission.
Remembrance is funded entirely by those willing to carry it forward.
These boots once carried Americans into harm’s way.
They now ask only one thing of us:
Do not let them be forgotten.
If you’ve ever wondered what real remembrance looks like—this is it.
