Border Vigil

The Border Vigil is an Eagle Pass based community group that holds a monthly Memorial Vigil/Vigilia Memorial in remembrance of the needless loss of life in the borderlands. Our vision is to create a space of healing, remembrance, and solidarity for the families and communities affected by a militarized border and inhumane approaches to controlling migration. Our mission is to raise awareness and foster dialogue about the root causes and consequences of migration, as well as to advocate for a humane and compassionate approach to border safety and immigration policy.
