UCHS Boys Lacrosse needs YOUR support

The University City High School boys lacrosse team has been raising athletes for over a decade. Team sports build character and push students to do their best on and off the field. Delivering a high quality experience doesn't just happen though. It takes hard work and dedication from coaches, parents, family, friends and the community.

While boys lacrosse is a school sponsored team, very little money is received from the school district. Most of the capital required to fund the program needs to be raised by the team. Boys lacrosse requires a considerable amount of money to ensure the safety and an equal opportunity for all players.

This is where you come in! Countless hours are put in by the coaching staff, parents, and other volunteers to help build our athletes. Your donation will help contribute to the team and allow the players to keep playing!

Here is a quick look at the boy lacrosse budget:

Referee Fees - $2,500
Field Equipment - $2,000
Player Equipment - $4,000
Uniforms - $1,500
Team Events - $1,500

The district contributes about $1,500 towards these expenses leaving $10,000 to be raised by the team.

There are several fundraising events throughout the season, but much of our funding comes from donations given by parents, family, friends and the community.

Donations are 100% tax deductible

UCHS Boys Lacrosse Booster Club falls under the “The Centurion Foundation”, a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3). Donation acknowledgement letters are issued for donations of $250+. Online receipts for amounts less than $250 are sufficient for IRS documentation purposes.
