On December 15, 8-year-old Taylor received the life-changing news that she has leukemia. She was immediately admitted to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where she began treatment. Taylor spent 16 days on the oncology unit—including Christmas—before being discharged to continue her 2.5-year treatment journey as an outpatient.
