2025 - 2026 Annual Appeal

Dear Manning Community, As we approach the holiday season, we find ourselves reflecting on the joy, growth, and curiosity we witness every day at the JP Manning school. We are lucky to have teachers and staff deeply committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired. However, many of the programs and opportunities that enrich our students’ experience are only possible because of the generosity of our community.

Today, we ask for your support in our 2025-2026 Annual Appeal. Thanks to incredible champions like you, the Manning School is able to support all students, ensuring they have the academic foundation and emotional support to succeed in academics and beyond. While the majority of the Manning School's funding is allocated through Boston Public Schools' budget, the Manning simply could not provide the incredible opportunities, enrichment, and wraparound services without your support.

The Manning School community is fortunate to have its own fundraising 501(c)3 organization - Friends of the JP Manning School, Inc. In the last school year our school’s nonprofit spent approximately $300 dollars per Manning student.

Your gift—whether $50, $250, $500, or more—directly impacts Manning students. Please give what is comfortable for your family. You help us fund:

Arts and music enrichment programs that broaden students’ perspectives – supplies for our beautiful art show and funding of the Boston Music Project
Field trips and experiential learning opportunities like trips to Boston’s Symphony Hall and sunny fall days picking fruit in orchards
Family engagement and community-building events that strengthen our school community
Technology and resources that help students build essential 21st-century skills, such as additional math software licenses and science kits
