Help Brandy & Twix After Neglect & Malnourishment!!

Meet Brandy and Twix, two sweet doodles who were surrendered to California Doodle Rescue just last week. The person who surrendered them claimed they were "very loved and well cared for" but were forced to give them up due to complaints from neighbors in their apartment complex. This was a lie! (See false photos they submitted to us). Sadly, when we picked them up, it became heartbreakingly clear that those words were far from the truth! Brandy and Twix were in horrible condition!! Their matted fur hid underlying health issues, and their bodies told a story of severe neglect. These poor babies needed immediate medical attention. Yesterday, we rushed them from Northern California to Sherman Oaks Vet, where they underwent emergency grooming and treatment for a host of ailments.

Brandy, the female, is so malnourished and fragile that spaying will have to wait until her health improves. There's even a possibility that she might be pregnant. Twix, the male, is also in dire need of time, love, and care to regain his strength and spirit.

We are determined to give Brandy and Twix the chance to heal and live the lives they deserve. But we can’t do it without your help. Their medical care, grooming, upcoming procedures, nutritional support, including spaying and neutering, will cost $10,000.
