We’re bringing something beautifully brave to New Orleans — our very first Brave Friends Adventure!

What Are Brave Friends Adventures?

Brave Friends is the Body pillar of the Brave Like Me Foundation — a program dedicated to movement, joy, and connection for children with complex medical conditions and the friends who stand by their side.

Every adventure gives a Brave Kid the chance to bring a friend of their choice — a sibling, a classmate, a teammate — because shared experiences build empathy, courage, and belonging.

When kids do life together, differences don’t divide them — joy connects them.

Let's Take a Brave Step Over the Rainbow into Oz!

Step into a world of music, magic, and courage as Brave Like Me hosts our first Brave Friends event in New Orleans - a private theatre experience at AMC for Wicked: For Good! This special showing is open to ALL Brave Kids, their best friend, and their immediate family — because bravery grows stronger together.

This isn’t just a movie.
It’s a moment to breathe.
To be included.
To feel seen.
To share joy side by side with the people who get it.

With a private auditorium reserved just for us, families can relax, move around if needed, and enjoy the show in a supportive, judgment-free space — the way it should be.

What’s Included:
🍿 Movie tickets for the Brave Kid + immediate family
🥤 Popcorn & small drink for each guest
💚 A welcoming, calm, and joyful experience — together

For many families, outings like this can be hard.
So we’re creating a day where nothing has to be explained and everyone belongs.

Brave Like Me cannot provide transportation to/from the event.

This event is free, but RSVP is required so we can reserve the right number of seats and snacks. If your plans change and you can no longer make it, please let us know so we can offer your seats to another deserving Brave Kid.
