Children today are facing more fear, crisis, and emotional overwhelm than ever.
As real responders and educators, we meet kids every day who are anxious, displaced, hurting, or unsure how to talk about what they feel.

BrightHeart Adventures is our mission to change that.

This project brings physical and emotional safety and KidSAFE skills to children through:

• A 24-book trauma-informed children’s book series starring Buddy — a real search-and-rescue service dog

• Safety and resilience lessons are woven into every story that comes from real kids in real-world situations. 

• IACET-approved training for teachers, parents, and responders in the top disaster, emergency, crisis, and critical incidents children face. Active Shooter*Internet Safety*Bullying*Suicide*Domestic Violence*Flood*Fire*Community Violence*Displacement*Grief and Loss*Addiction etc. 

• A companion podcast to reach families immediately

• KidSAFE Comfort Care Packs for children experiencing disaster, displacement, violence, or crisis- We are a boots-on-the-ground organization, not just educators and advocates. 

• Our RISEUP Rapid Response Crisis Pods and Response Teams get support where it's needed right away when disaster strikes. 

Over 400 Comfort Care Packs are already in the hands of real kids facing real-life crises.

IACET certification is in its final stage of approval. 
Book 1 is fully written and illustration-ready.

We are raising $50,000 to complete the entire series, accelerate our ability to respond rapidly to disasters, expand training, and distribute thousands more Comfort Care Packs.
