Maisie Violet Pelletier (Our MVP!) arrived on 2/2/22. Even though she was born on Groundhog Day she did not see her shadow that day, in fact she saw nothing but light! Maisie was born with Trisomy 21 (more commonly known as Down Syndrome) and in her short life has had multiple surgeries including open heart surgery at just 5 months old. She has persevered through her medical challenges and is just a very happy girl with a smile and giggle that are infectious and she captures the hearts of everyone she meets! She loves music and spending time with her family and friends. She brings so much joy to them everyday and reminds them just how beautiful and precious life is. It is wonderful to view the world through Maisie’s eyes. We can’t wait to see how she changes the world in the future as she has already touched so many hearts and minds in her short time here with us! She is a true inspiration to those that know her and many that haven’t met her yet. I (her mother) waited my whole life for her arrival. She makes my entire life and all the experiences I’ve had make sense. She truly was the piece of my life that was missing and I’m so glad she chose me to be her Mom! We are fundraising for Maisie and her beautiful community.
