In late winter of 2019, my family and I embarked on a new journey. We left our houseboat in Old Saybrook, CT, to purchase 114 acres of pristine land that we would call home. Together, we began to build a farm with a purpose – Blue Iris Farm Rescue and Retreat.

As a professional photographer for over 20 years, I've met thousands of people and learned that everyone has a unique story. Beneath our differences, we share hopes, dreams, and values that make us who we are. Connecticut is where my story began, where I met my late husband, Bob Doyle, and raised our two children, Ayden and Brianna. It's where we planted our seeds and grew as a family.

Blue Iris Farm Rescue and Retreat aims to create a space where people can gather to learn and grow as individuals and community members. We integrate our love for animals and nature to harness their healing properties. This is not just my dream; it's a place we can rescue, heal, grow, and inspire together.

We rescue animals, providing them with comfort, healing, and love. We also offer a retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway filled with activities that suit their needs, from spending time with the animals to engaging in spiritual healing and art activities.
