Dear Friend,

Thank you for your kind donation and support of Building Blocks’ work to build schools in rural parts of Africa!

Because of donors like you, we were able to open Porter International School in Kyekyewere, Ghana in 2019. Before Porter International was built, there was only one primary school to serve the population of over 16,000 people. Now, 300 students have a beautiful, and sustainable school to attend. You also helped us build Mama Yaa's Home for Children at the school campus which was completed in early 2022. Mama Yaa took in so many children in need and we are proud to help her daughter Jane continue this selfless mission.

We recently expanded our mission to Narok-West county, Kenya. We are working to build Spring of Hope Secondary School for Girls. Spring of Hope will provide schooling for local girls, as well as safe housing and education for girls rescued from early marriage and sex trafficking. Our mission is to empower these young women to achieve their dreams, gain meaningful employment and/or attend college.

By continuing to support and contribute to Building Blocks, you will help to purchase building materials and hire local construction workers to complete Spring of Hope School and continue to expand the campus in Kyekyewere, Ghana.

Building Blocks is led solely by volunteers, so your donation goes directly to project costs. We are also committed to hiring only local contractors and using local materials in order to support the communities where our schools are located.
