BULLDOGS GIVE BACK CAMPAIGN

BULLDOGS GIVE BACK COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN 2025-2026

This year, the Wilson Education Foundation (WEF) is partnering with the District for year-end giving to support Bulldogs Give Back!

The District's Service Project will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026, to combat food insecurity in our community. We are working with Helping Harvest, Redner’s, and the Youth Volunteer Corps. On the service day:

  • Secondary students and staff will assemble packages of food for thousands of backpacks.
  • Elementary students will learn about food insecurity and write encouraging notes.

We need your financial support to cover the costs of food and materials. Thanks to a partnership with Redner's, we can purchase food at cost, but additional funds are needed to make this project a reality.

  • Weekender Backpacks, fights childhood hunger by providing over $4,300 students with healthy, non-perishable weekend meals, helping them return to school ready to learn.
  • Care Packages, which provide immediate relief to unhoused individuals with essential, easy-to-use items, offering a vital safety net and improved quality of life.

At each donation level, you can see an example of the impact your dollars can have on the families in the Wilson Community. Every donation counts:

  • $6 provides 1 backpack or care package
  • $30 provides 5 backpacks/care packages
  • $60 provides 10 backpacks/care packages
  • $120 provides 20 backpacks/care packages

Together, we can make a MAJOR IMPACT in our community. Donations can be made now through WEF. Please consider making an end-of-the-year gift; every dollar makes a difference! Thank you in advance for your support.

As WEF is a 501(c)(3), your contribution may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.

The Wilson Education Foundation (WEF) positively impacts students' lives by supporting the Wilson School District in three areas: Student Experience, Teaching Excellence, and Community Engagement.

We provide our students (K-12) with a differentiated education over and above what could be paid for with our tax base alone. The non-tax dollars raised by WEF help to support academic programs, grants, scholarships, district events, facility upgrades, and more.
