Journalism has increasingly transformed into clickbait headlines and outrage machines. A constant churn of disconnected stories designed to keep you reactive instead of informed. Beneath that daily barrage lie patterns, systems, and throughlines of power that rarely receive sustained scrutiny.

That’s where Bullhorn Bulletin comes in.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked as both an investigative journalist and a political organizer. I’ve advised dozens of insurgent federal congressional campaigns. I’ve worked on major policy initiatives. I’ve organized in nearly every state in the country. I’ve covered hundreds of stories exposing the machinery of modern corruption.

From my exposé on the Broligarchy, to deep dives into the failures of the two-party system, to sustained coverage of Gaza, to years of reporting on ICE, DHS, militarized policing, and the expanding architecture of authoritarian power in the United States, my work ties together the history, the money, and the narrative manipulation that too often go unchallenged.

I’m a single mom from Appalachia navigating generational poverty in real time, not theorizing about it. I learned early that bootstrapping and meritocracy were fairy tales sold to working people. I’ve paid the price for speaking too early, too loudly, and too accurately. I’ve faced blacklisting for refusing to soften the truth.

There is no staff behind this project. No corporate sponsors. No political party think tanks bankrolling the work.

There is just independent journalism, built in real time.

And I cannot sustain it alone.
