Hello, My name is John Fischer. I started skating in the LTS program when I was 6. After trying other sports like soccer and basketball I eventually made the decision to take skating more seriously and started taking private lessons at the age of 12. Starting out slow I went to a few competitions well continuing on through Junior High and High School. I have been blessed with an amazing coach who has been with me on this entire journey and has shaped me into the person I am today. When considering options for collage I was approached by Kiki the founder of the team and current President at the time. Hesitant at first, I didn't know if I wanted to make such a big commitment with my time going into collage (especially as my interests were towards engineering). But I knew how much I loved the sport, so I decided to try out. That was one of the best decisions I have made in the past few years, and I have met many amazing people both on the team and across intercollegiate skating. I hope to continue to support this amazing sport and the people in it.
