COVID-19 has been a difficult time for all of us. We have seen the toll it has taken on each other, and especially on our farming community. Thanks to some initial funding from Farm Aid and from other food and farm organizations from across the region, the Central Appalachian Family Farm Fund has been created to help our farmers in times of need.
Most importantly, we need to thank our friends at Farm Aid for making the first contribution to this fund, but moving forward, we need help from individuals like you to keep this funding available for West Virginia Farms when they experience crisis -- whether it’s the current COVID-19 pandemic, flooding, or another disaster, funds need to be available when your farmers need them.
If you have questions or would like to talk about the fund more directly, please don't hesitate to reach out to the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition's executive director, Spencer Moss [email protected]
