Story
Rick was a hero! You ARE a hero!
In 1993, the Founder of Challenge Air, Rick Amber, decided to buy an airplane and use it as a motivational tool to increase confidence and self-esteem in kids with special needs by giving them the opportunity to fly.
Rick’s dream was to give 1 million children with special needs the opportunity to learn more about flying and to dream that one-day they too could become a pilot. In the past 30 years, Challenge Air has flown over 40,000 co-pilots and their families.
Please join us in continuing to pursue the goal of flying 1 million co-pilots. I have done the math, and the average cost to fly one child with special needs and their families is approximately $250. You’ve been such a hero in the past by donating. You have helped bring smiles to so many kids and lasting memories to their families. Please join us today, or on Giving Tuesday (which is November 28th) or by the end of the year!
The staff is busy planning our 2024 calendar of events. Your giving is more critical than ever as we ramp up again after the covid years. Our hope is to fly in 10 returning cities and 2 new cities in 2024, and more cities than ever are asking about our events. Your continued support will help increase the impact Challenge Air has on the lives of over 1,000 children next year.
Help us to land 2023 well, and to take off in 2024! THANK YOU!
