Join the CAST Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA) for a magical journey as we present our 2026 Competition Show, Into the Woods, Jr.!

📖 About the Show: Fairytales collide in this whimsical and heartfelt musical adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine classic. The story follows a Baker and his Wife, who yearn for a child but are held back by a Witch's curse. To break the spell, they must venture into the woods to find four magical items.

Along the way, their paths cross with Cinderella fleeing the ball, Little Red Riding Hood on her way to Grandma’s, Jack (and his beanstalk!), and Rapunzel in her tower. It is a witty, fun, and touching adventure about the lengths we go to for our wishes—and what happens after they come true.

🌟 Special Performances: Come see our CAPA Team shine before they take this production on the road to the Alabama Youth Theatre Experience (AYTE)! This is your chance to support our local talent and see the award-worthy work they’ve been preparing for competition.
