The Coldspring Area Public Library was founded in 1985 by a group of civic minded citizens.

The Library has a large selection of printed and digital books for all ages and genres. Additionally the Library provides services such as a Notary, a computer lab, faxing, copying and emailing for nominal fees.

Coldspring Area Public Library sponsors the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for over 250 children in the San Jacinto County. Children ages 0 to 5 receive a book in the mail every month.

Every month the Library offers programs for adults and children alike, from story time to classes on using computers and cell phones, and so much more.

Sixty five percent of the income to support the Library for the past 40 years has always come from individuals and businesses like you.
