Story
This mission really needs your support. Over 3000 people will be served.
Your generous donation helps to save and improve the lives of those we serve and has far reaching impact in their communities.
The location of this year's mission lacks an adequate healthcare system and resources for its population to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases.
Thanks to your generous donations, the Patcha Foundation (MMPF) was successful in raising over $18,000 during its last fundraising drive; however, we have a shortfall in the funds necessary to provide adequate medical mission care, and to support the medical mission logistics. All of your donation will go toward the care for the underserved and the vulnerable people we serve.
For the 2023 medical mission, the Patcha Foundation will provide medical, dental and ophthalmology services; surgeries; screening for breast, cervical, prostate and oral cancer; treatment of precancerous lesions of the cervix and referrals for more advanced cases; screening for and management of diabetes and high blood pressure; cardiology consultations and management; gynecological consultations; Ear-Nose-Throat screenings and management; mental health consultations and management; pediatric and general consultations and care; urology consultations; medications; laboratory testing; health, disease and nutrition education; capacity building initiatives; physiotherapy services; and more. All services are FREE to all participants.
Donate to support MMPF as we continue in service to those that are in need.
The Patcha Foundation is a 501c3 approved non-profit organization organized for health, charitable, educational and scientific purposes, engaged in disease and Cancer Awareness, Screening/prevention, Early detection and Care (CASEC), with a focus on increasing access to cancer and chronic diseases management resources, and shrinking the equity gap for low income and resource challenged populations. Activities include health fairs, workshops, a monthly newsletter, a yearly physical cancer conference (CASEC Information Exchange), livestream information exchanges (CVIE), and medical missions to Africa. CASEC medical missions are unique in that they incorporate free cancer screening and treatment as part of comprehensive medical and surgical services delivery.
Vision: To become the pre-eminent health, educational, economic empowerment & life improving delivery system in impoverished regions of the world.
