The Congressional Black Caucus for New Urbanism is both an organization and a movement. What started as an interest group within the Congress for New Urbanism, is now a non-profit organization. Our Mission: started to create inclusion in the mission and vision of CNU while mobilizing people of color to actively participate the New Urbanism movement. We have a vision of a world where development of cities & places is more diverse in class, structure and are sustainable. We support CNU’s goals of Diversity and Equity, leadership cultivation, economic empowerment, and civic engagement. We continue to advance the Black community by actively combating systemic racism in the housing industry by: project based work, providing networking opportunities, mentorship, informing policy, and education.https://www.cbcnu.org/
