Help Community Care Tucson put on memorable fall and winter holiday feasts for unhoused neighbors and struggling Tucsonans!

The holidays can be a tough time for anyone struggling financially, especially people who are unsheltered. Around Thanksgiving and the winter holidays, folks barely scraping by are surrounded by elaborate, celebratory meals shared with family and friends. EVERYONE should have this communal experience as the year winds to a close.

CCT is planning two special holiday feasts during our park picnics — one in November and another in December — to provide an elevated shared meal that creates cherished memories, even during tough times.

In past years, we've provided catered holiday meals from our favorite local, Indigenous-owned restaurants to celebrate the end of the year. These are always some of everyone's favorite nights in the park. With the sheer number of people we've been serving this year (between 150 and 200 at every distribution), we're looking at a hefty price tag.

We are planning to raise $2,500 to help cover the costs of catered food from beloved Tucson restaurants at two holiday events at the park.
