Bring Home Alone to the Red Carpet!
Crowdsourced VT is an annual community film project, a statewide remake of a feature film, created by nearly 40 teams of creators. Participants gain new skills, express their creativity, build community, and contribute to a fun re-imagining of a beloved film, with training and tech support provided by nonprofit The Media Factory, in collaboration with Vermont community media centers.
This year we are re-creating Home Alone! Between the practical effects and the slapstick action, it’s going to be a very entertaining film.
Help us defeat the Wet Bandits and bring the project to the big screen!!
The completed video will be premiered at Merrill’s Roxy Cinema on November 7th. Crowdsourced Home Alone will also be aired on: CREATE - Comcast 1074, BT 15+215; LEARN - Comcast 1094 and BT 16 + 216; on the Vermont Community Television Channel Comcast 1070; and online on YouTube, our website, and OTT platforms on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more.
