- Just a few hours in a cool space allows the body to recover. Just 1 cool room in an apartment is enough

Air Conditioning is the #1 prevention for heat illness and death

We are a group organized through the Carbon League with the goal of delivering air conditioners to people who would otherwise be unprotected during summer heat.
We are targeting community-based organizations who serve residents in Hunt’s Point, Mott Haven, Morrisania, Claremont and West Farms because those neighborhood have the highest risk of heat-related deaths during hot weather and 1 out of 10 residents struggle to leave their homes to seek cool spaces.
We are looking for partners who can provide air conditioning units or the installation
