Lynn McGillin's Story

Thank you to all of the supporters of Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports and Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing (PAR).  PAR is the oldest adaptive rowing program in the United States and one of the first in the world.

I started volunteering with the Philadelphia Rowing Program for the Disabled, now Philadelphia Adapted Sports in 1981.  I rowed at Philadelphia Girls Club at this time and was a Registered Nurse at Magee Rehabilitation in Philadelphia when I learned about the adaptive rowing program in Philadelphia.   I continue to volunteer with the rowing program, the Communication Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors.  So glad that I found the PCAS community 41 years ago.
