Jeff McGinnis's Story

I'm raising money to support the Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports. I co-founded this organization in 1995 to improve the health and well-being of people with disabilities. We've reached thousands of people and changed the lives of many for the better. We are 50% to our goal of $50,000. Please help us cross the fundraising finish line. You'll help us build more inclusive communities, where all abilities are valued.

Story

Online event registration to ride or walk is closed. You may register at the event. Donations may still be made through the site.

The Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports needs your help to empower athletes with disabilities.

People with disabilities are often excluded from communities and activities that promote healthy living.

Our mission is to change that.

We work to expand access to healthy lifestyles for people with disabilities by developing inclusive sports and wellness communities that value all abilities. With the help of our supporters, we are making a difference.

Your participation in the Cinco de Mayo Ride & Walk will allow us to continue our mission and improve the health of individuals with disabilities.

Three ways you can help

  1. You can join the ride and walk by purchasing a ticket.
  2. You can raise funds. This has the greatest impact. You can either join an existing team or form your own. Raise funds whether or not you plan to attend the event. You'll make a significant difference. (To get started, simply click the blue Fundraise button under the photo at the top.)
  3. Donate. You can make a one-time or recurring contribution.

Show your support for people with disabilities by riding, walking, and fundraising.

Our work is only possible because of our donors’ generosity. PCAS relies on community support. Alumni, families, foundations, and businesses help bring our mission to life.

PCAS is leading adaptive sports and wellness organization. We offer nearly twenty innovative in-person and virtual programs. For 35 years, our mission has been to improve the health and well-being of people with disabilities. We achieve this through sports and wellness programs, and community engagement.
