For the past 41 years I have volunteered with the adaptive rowing program, Philadelphia Rowing Program for the Disabled (PRPD), now Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing (PAR). In addition to my volunteer work with PAR, I lead the PCAS Communication Committee and assist in the production of our quarterly newsletter, a member of the Membership Activity Committee and a member of PCAS’s Board of Directors.
You might ask why I give so much of my time to PCAS. There are so many reasons but #1 it is fun. And the value of inclusion that permeates PCAS is the second reason that I am passionate about supporting this organization. PCAS is all about creating communities where all are welcome to join to have fun in sports and recreation.
