Shortline Railroad Rehabilitation

Dear Friends of the Goleta Depot Museum

Please consider a special donation to the Shortline Project

Every dollar donated to the Shortline Roadbed and Track Project will be matched by the Goleta Valley Community Center (GVCC) up to a total of $25,000. Our goal is to raise an additional $50,000 to augment an existing generous donation from the GVCC to completely rebuild the Goleta Shortline Railroad track system. The work including all the rails, ties, switches ,crossovers, turntable, and wheels will keep the Museum "On Track' to continue to provide safe and fun train rides around the Museum grounds for years to come.

Your donations will allow this improvement project to be completed by the fall of this year
