Get your hockey player training at the Cape Ice Rink this winter!

The Espinal Family Youth Hockey Program is generously sponsored in loving memory of Andrea Espinal in an effort to keep our community healthy and happy all winter long.

This co-ed program allows friends to play hockey on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the winter. Our volunteer coaches will lead players through a combination of drills and scrimmages. Full hockey gear and sticks are required. Players are expected to have completed Hockey Learn to Play before enrolling in this program. (Hockey Learn to Play will be held Monday afternoons starting in January with registration available via Cape Community Services starting December 18th).

Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Dec 6th - Mar 7, excluding school vacation weeks*

Times:

Grades 1-4: 4 PM - 5 PM through Feb 15th, 5:30 - 6:30 PM weeks of Feb 26 & March 4th
Grades 5-8: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM through Feb 15th, 5:30 - 6:30 PM weeks of Feb 26 & March 4th

Cost: $150/player, including Beauty Unis reversible practice jersey**

All players must complete our online waiver and both players & parents will be asked by coaches to sign our Code of Conduct.

* Schedule is subject to adjustments - some weeks one age group or skill level may have a game and use full ice for a particular day or be scheduled for an alternative time; cancellations due to weather are expected due to the nature of Cape Ice Rink being an outdoor rink. Sessions will not be rescheduled - weather-related cancellations are accounted for in the cost of this program.

** For registrations on or before November 26th, BeautyUnis reversible practice jerseys are expected in early January; for registrations after November 26th, jerseys may be delayed until early February.

Due to system limitations, please complete the registration form once per player - selecting ONE ticket for the appropriate age group each time.
