CEHN has a 30-year history of being the leading voice for children’s environmental health in the nation’s capital. Over the past three decades, we developed the first pediatric environmental health training curriculum for clinicians, initiated the only national education, training, and endorsement program for child care professionals in eco-healthy best practices, launched the first calendar-observance day devoted to children’s environmental health, lead efforts to develop the vision and the strategic framework for the field, and continue to push for child-protective policy at the federal level.
