Chocolate Eclaire Retirement Haven is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a loving and safe sanctuary for retired school horses in Grayslake, IL.
Our founder, Val Buesching, created a haven where senior horses are assured a peaceful and dignified retirement in return for their years spent patiently teaching riders of all ages and skill levels.
At Chocolate Eclaire Retirement Haven, we ensure that each senior horse receives proper veterinary care, nutritious food, and the daily love and attention they deserve. However, as a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of compassionate individuals like you to continue this important work.
Your donation will directly support:
- Nutritious feed and specialized supplements to keep our retirees happy and healthy.
- Vet care and farrier services to address their aging-related needs.
- Safe and comfortable shelter where they can live out their golden years with dignity.
